"The love of Christ compels us." 2 Corinthians 5:14
What is Centro Agape?
A day center offering love, hope, community, prayer, practical help, and training for the migrant community of Rome.
About the Directors
Centro Agape was founded in 2016 by Todd and Christie Kincaid in collaboration with another couple who shared a burden to love and care for the migrant community of Rome. The center operated in the Alessandrino area of the city for six years before shifting to San Giovanni in April 2023. Todd and Christie, who are Americans, have been involved in cross-cultural work of various kinds since 1991 and have lived in Haiti, France, and East Africa.
Masum Khondakar has been a vital part of Centro Agape since 2016. He serves as a Co-Director of Centro Agape with Todd. Coming to Italy from Bangladesh himself, Masum can sympathize with the plight of the average migrant and the challenges they face as they integrate into Italian society.
